cherylene's frens say they cant click wif me... supposedly i have no situational awareness, is not very gentlemanly, have a poor sense of humour and speaks lousy english.. they ask her "does he always go dutch wif u?" i really tried to treat hem like frens but from the bottom of my heart, i realli start to feel that its qte naive for me to treat them as my frens... listening to one of them when she broke up wif her bf.. thinking of another of her fren n calling to offer to dapao supper when i was at sheares... or even offering to open the tightly closed cockles at prawn fishing til my nails hurt.. i think all these are not gonna get them to see me as a fren... i thnk perhaps i shld work on my english n how i carry myself perhaps?

wads most disturbing is that cherylene is very upset by wad they think.. n everytime we quarrel its reali more or less abt me doing like somethg wrong in front of her frens... wrong.. haha... evn that i do not realli noe whether i realli did smethg wrong or not.. was studyg my psyche textbook... one of the effective ways of couple therapy is IBCT, to teach the couple not to make changes but to be les critical and more accepting...

end of the day, i noe i have my flaws.. but im very sure i have qualities many guys might lack which i think r the more important attributes for having a long lasting relationship... i guess ill work on my flaws.. end of the day, i feel cherylene being so upset about her frens' views of me is realli doing lots of damage to this relationship.. if it goes on, im not even sure i can take it...

in any case, if a relationship has to end because my gf is upset by a bunch of superficial frens, i guess all i can do is look back n just laugh it off.. i hope tat day wun come cuz i feel... such a nice gf.. n in many ways compaitable.. being lost this way will be the most stupid thg i have ever allowed to happen to me... sigh =(

cher n me went to arab street!!! n its amazing how interestg thgs there are... all the arabic stuff... and shops... like the one i went to... grandfather's treasures... damn cool... all the ancient looking phone, fridge and watches... then there is the super cool coke collection.... hahaha... amazing!!! n there were many exotic cafes there to explore too!! me n dear had this super nice pot of tea wif peppermint leaves at onli 2.50!!! steady la... will come back n try their food.. onli 6plus hahaha...

after that we went to this arabic looking restaurant to chill at night... the decor, the music... pple smoking seesha... carpeted, warm yellow lights, lots of cushion wif a few tables n no chairs at all... nice!!! next time we will try the food there too!! hehehe...

aniwaes... gotta go n mug now!!! RRRAAAAHHHHH

2dae me, HH, xiong n JY played in the engine fac 3 on 3 bball... the rules suck big time.. each team has onli 6 fouls in 15 mins and when 6 fouls is up, they automatically lose 1 player... aniwae, the rules suck but we sucked even more, we lost al 4 games in which we played in.. hmm.. i hope we can improve la... cuz having 2 very tell pple, 188 and 194cm, to lose the way we did was... i just felt we cld have done better la... as for me, i think i did ok la... but the last game my morale was rock bottom.. haha, so... sorry guys...

ytd i had a meeting that stretched from 10pm-4am... and its amzing how people make silly comparisons between committees that are of different nature... in some sense, if we watch a dance for 15mins and 3 persons singg 3 songs for 15mins... can u safely say that the former or latter is more or less entertaining??? the backstage crew for jay chou's concert might set up all the props for the concert and while that is definitely more tedious than jay chou singg, does that mean they shld earn more than jay chou? the whole objective is jay's ability to entertain n tats where his big pay checks are justified.. if singg 4 songs a year dun deserve so much pts, its realli nt a very sound judgement la in some sense... but i cldnt fight for them too la, cuz the head, which was my close fren, realli din put in enuf effort =(

one week holidae... but i guess, its the beginning of mugging... n pls, temasek hall, i need some time to study, thanx

14th was vdae and 15th was cher's bdae... for vdae i got a super cool lamp that was like ancient, which cher spent hrs hunting for... one of its kind from japan which she bought from an ah pek... n being sooo understanding, cherylene suggested eating at east coast hawker to escape the crowd and the throat cutting prices of restaurant.. hmm.. however, we did not escape the crowd... but the the 30 bucks of stingray, hum, satay beehoon, chicken wings, gong gong and coconut juice was... my best vdae dinner ever!!! hahaha

after tat we went outfield!!! pitch tent, cook noodles and played the board game i made for cherylene... throw the dice, move across ur relationship milestones past n future, draw 'sorry', 'thank you' and 'action cards' to advance or move back! i had fun! hope u loved the game too dear.. =) wanted to watch the sunrise but.. hahaha.. we overslept...

watched P.S i love you on cher's bdae... nice but sad show la... but i loved it.. after tat we had a super gd n reasonably atas dinner at the english rose cafe.. the food was gd though but i realli missed out important elements of a bdae celebration... which ill remember and make better next time!! so sorry again dear.. **hHuuGgzzZ**

monday.. project meeting, then realised that another module's 1000 word term paper is due on tuesday... wrote from 7pm to 4am... wake at 10 to do referencing... after that go meet beetin and gang to lao yu sheng.. rushed back for meeting but arrived late cuz i overslept on the bus... vetted JCRC documents and realised my heads made lots of mistakes... did up my prep for presentation on thursday.. gonna sleep soon.. mock PAB, JCRC meeting 2ml night for at least 3 hrs i think.. thursday valentines, friday dear's bdae before going back hall at night again for mock PAB 2..

fly here fly there everywhere fly fly... siam here siam there still thiok jiao sai... so frustrated i feel like scolding JEEEEEEE _______ !!!!

1 week to the competition and david realised thta we cld not get any instrumentalists.. "Daniel Xia! can help me play drums or not???" **looking hungry and angsty** "ok".. "mark?? can help me play bass on sunday? u need to paktor?" " anythg for u man, steady BBB".. "marrianne, keyboard... help me?" "er... i check schedule first... ok lo" thanx guys though u might not even read this entry... thanx!!! true frens... =)

linjie n elaine came.. both woth a guy.. hopefully they are hapily attached... cuz i am.. haha.. was quite nervous that day but cherylene met e to pass me her lucky charm n somethg that she made for me.. wrote some stuff n, yup tats to secret of cuz =P.. reali felt less nervous after readg n holding it.. got bombarded by the judges for my singing.. but i received sms from HH saying i am the best n i did great.. then we went supper after the whole thg.. n even had some tsingtao beer that taste like water, haaha..

for all those hu came, i reali thank all of u guys for being there for me though din win anythg at all.. n for those hu forgot n din come.. abit of anger that faded into a tinge of sadness and disappointment..

chinatown is damn fun seriously... i went this wek on tuesday.. but onli had time to blog now... as i told all my frens, they throw food at u n when u try n never buy, they still smile and thank you... cuttlefish, mushroom, jelly, peanuts, guae zhi, eat til i felt qte full withot even having t eat dinner... then we ended the night tryg to find this ice kachang and it was like damn shiok man... the durian is... woohhoooo.. n u realli gotta listen to the funny thgs that the chinatown vendors shout... damn funny man... i shld have videoed it down n blog it...

2dae is the finals.. hope nothg screws up n at least if we put in our best and we lost, it will still be a happy ending i guess.. beetin will be back soon.. HH finally bringg kenyee out.. though still in school.. n cherylene will hear me sing.. jiangyuan listening to me on stage for the first time as an audience!! but janice is... hope everythg turns out well...
